Lanka Premier League 2024 is going to start from tomorrow, from July 1, 5 teams are participating in it, Dambulla Sixers, B-Love Kandy, Jaffna Kings, Colombo Strikers, Galle Marvels. This will be the 5th edition of Lanka Premier League. This league has been formed after being influenced by IPL. Members of Lanka Boards also want that viewership should increase, youngsters should get a chance and brands should be given a chance. In its previous edition, B-Love KANDY won. Before that, Jaffna Kings won 2 consecutive editions and the first edition of 2020 was won by Jaffna Stallions.

B-Love Candy won the Lanka Premier League last year. Will they be able to defend their title this year? Their squad looks great. We will see in the further analysis.

Jaffana Kings
Jaffna Kings have won the Consecutive title twice. It has been the most successful team. In the last season of Lanka Premier League, they missed a hat-trick of titles and were knocked out in the eliminator. This season, Jaffna Kings would like to win the title for the third time.
Colombo Strikers
Colombo Strikers could not even qualify last season and were eliminated from the group stage. They would at least like to qualify in this edition.

Lanka Premier League will start from tommorow 1 july 2024 and the final will be held on Sunday july 21,2024
Afternoon matches will start at 3.30 pm IST and night matches at 7 pm IST
This edition will have 24 matches, 1 eliminator, 2 qualifiers and the final
